Dacia builds its 500,000th Duster!

Workers were happy to take a celebratory press photo to recognize the production of the 500,000th Duster. being built at the Mioveni site in Romania.

The 500,000th Duster was painted in Gris Olive and is destined for a customer in France. An interesting fact is that this Romanian factory exports 95% of its production.



Great job factory workers! Now get to work and call us when you reach 750,000.

im not surprised for some reason, regular consumers love them, governments buy them for their fleet and companies also buy them for their fleet.

well that means that this factory is not just building Dacias, but also renaults and nissan terranos.

this cant be 500K for just the redesign, more like 500K since 2010.

that's another thing to consider, when it all started, that does make a difference.
it still is a big milestone for them, just shows the potential of the brand

What are the Dusters used for when they are bought as a fleet? Taxis? Just government vehicles? Which governments are buying them?

I'm going to assume this factory also produces the Renault Duster...
