Default Collecting a new Duster very soon!

My sister recently bought a black Sandero Stepway with all the mod cons after originally going into our local Renault/Dacia dealership to look at a Captur. We went with her to the showroom to have a look at the cars with her and all of us liked the look of the Dacia range, especially the price tags! My sister and her husband ordered their Stepway with plenty of added extras and it was still far cheaper than any of the other cars we had looked at. At the time, we couldn't afford to swap our car but we both agreed that a Duster would be ideal for us, especially as we have a 6 month old baby. I've driven my sisters car a couple of times and have been well impressed, especially with how nippy It feels for such a small engine.
I have recently been promoted in work so we decided to have a look for deals. A dealership about an hour from here had a limited number of pre-registered Access 4x2 models available so I asked for a couple of finance quotes by email and we planned to go for a test drive. I then checked with a dealer just up the road from here to see what they had available. They didn't have any 4x2 models in stock, but did have a 4x4 Access so we decided to go for a good look round and a test drive, just so we had an idea what the cars were like before travelling to the other dealer. We both really liked the car and the way it drove so asked for a couple of finance quotes and were pleasantly surprised. We ended up getting a deal which was only a few quid more per month for the 4x4 with 3 years servicing (inc. first MOT) for the price of 2. Another bonus is that the car is unusual as it is silver. From what I've read and been told, the Access is normally only available in white!
With a bit of luck, we'll be collecting the car on Friday. Just waiting for the PDI check and things to be sorted out

Welcome to the forums Mark, I think the 4x4 can be worth the extra and certainly if its only ended up costing a few extra pounds per month I think you've got a good deal there.

Well, we've had it a few days now and both of us really like it. The only criticism we have is that 1st gear is very short, but we can live with that It's very comfy, smooth and not as loud as some of the reviews would have you think. Nobody can believe the price of them, especially when they've never really looked at them before
