Hi, just got a duster. Looking for advice on whether to get some mud gards and also advice about after market tow bars and more specifically getting the electrics wired in. Cheers
What are the roads like where you're at? If for the most part they're well paved and not dirty and muddy.... then you may want to go without the mud guards.
Just got my duster access, it's the 2015 model with the new grill etc, as for wiring ie the stereo, all wires for the radio are located behind the top storage tray which are removed by pulling the tabs down from inside the roof of the tray, the speaker grills pop of from the front, be aware though that the fronts are connected to the din socket already but the rear door ones are not and will need additional wiring.
Otherwise well pleased with the car, comfortable drive and managed 38mpg cruising at 70 mph

Congrats!
Keep up posted on how everything goes with it along with any accessories/modifications you get.
Have a Duster Laureate 4x4 on order and am looking forward to getting it at the end of December, hopefully in time for any snow and ice that might be coming our way.
Which leads me to my question for experienced Duster drivers: what's best for driving in such conditions? Auto or 4WD?
just waiting for my duster ordered it end of november told that i have to wait till march ? due to wanting a spare wheel fitting and carrier its a lauriette 4x2 in white with media pack and mats mud flaps rear park sensors armrest and adventure pack! looking forward to it looks sharper with new grill but i must admit wish it had the chrome boot handle as i thought that was a classy touche what do you guys think?
